SUSTAIN Cameroon is a not-for-profit organization working to improve on the welfare of vulnerable persons of all ages in the most under-served communities in the North West Region in particular and Cameroon in general. SUSTAIN offers access to income generation initiatives for widows, barren women and orphans and helps them continue their education to escape from extreme poverty, trafficking, early and forced marriages, HIV/AIDS infection and other health risks.
SUSTAIN Cameroon was formed out of the encouragement of beneficiaries and has become a newly formed grass-root organization with committed staff members working mainly on voluntary basis. SUSTAIN team members come from different backgrounds and draw from their experience in education, health and project management to provide direct assistance and build capacity to ensure the socio-economic reintegration of vulnerable persons particularly women and girls in the rural areas of Cameroon.
